Crystal Palace Perennial

About Us

Crystal Palace Perennials began in 1989 as a wholesale water plant nursery serving garden centers in and around Chicago and northwest Indiana. Over time we became the foremost grower of water plants for the upper midwest region of the United States.

As the demand for water garden plants increased, more and more hobbyists came to our nursery looking for unusual, quality aquatics. Our retail area opened in 1995, growing from a picnic table with a few kiddy pools to over two acres of land devoted to retail sales of aquatic plants, equipment, and supplies.

We have now closed the nursery (in July 2003), but continue our interest in aquatics in particular, and gardening in general. Read about what else we’re doing for more details.
